ANGELS IN DISGUISE
Like humans, animals are living entities born under the same stars in the same universe and on the same planet, therefore, they, too, are subject to the presence and influence of the moving planets as is every living cell in our solar system. C. G. Jung made a very careful and insightful observation in his studies when he said: “Whatever is born or done in a moment of time has the qualities of this moment of time.”
Caretakers can better understand the personalities of their pets with the aid of astrological knowledge. Like humans, every animal is born on a certain day, time, place and year. This data is necessary in order to set up a birth chart for any animal, bird or fish. (Note: Auriel’s pet corner will deal only with live cats and dogs.)
It is the observation of this astrologer that during the orderly orbital journey of the planets, when they pass through one constellation to the next, that these changes are felt or expressed on some level either consciously or unconsciously by all life on Earth and that this exchange is synergistic. This is not to suggest that the planets make anyone do anything, they do not. The cosmos is merely a reflection of what is happening within all life forms and vice versa.
When the planets change signs, all life forms begin to feel change or get signals to begin their new life cycle changes and with the tool of astrology an observer can get a better idea as to how the next new stage of life is being set.
Your cat or dog, as any living entity, has a birth chart and through this birth chart you can better understand their personalities and when and how they will experience their ups-and-downs in life. Our pets are special gifts given to us to help us cope with our own trials and tribulations in life.
According to the ancients of long ago, in the hierarchy of importance of all life form, animals were first, then came the vegetable kingdom and third on the list was humankind. I often wonder when and how did mankind’s arrogant attitude of superiority evolve? With this in mind, we need to humble ourselves before these divine creatures and give them the love and respect they deserve. We must begin to take better care of our pets and all animals on this Earth. Immanuel Kant said, “He who is cruel to animals becomes hard also in his dealing with men. We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.”
The animal kingdom is a peaceable kingdom. They do not kill out of revenge or to seek power. They are instinctive in their nature to reproduce and survive, but they harbor no ill will. Their senses are acute as well as their instincts because they listen and hear on many levels what humankind cannot. It is for us to observe and learn from a higher entity than ourselves, which are all of God’s creatures and our beloved pets.
Words of Wisdom
by Henry Beston
For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we will never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings, they are other nations, caught with our selves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the Earth.
