PAT'S VIEWTHE BIG PUSH FOR FREEDOM Uranus leaves the sign of Pisces And Enters the Sign of Aries on March 11, 2011at 6:21 pm CST Transiting Uranus will leave the sign of Aries and enter the sign of Taurus on May 16, 2018. It will then retrograde back into Aries on Nov 7, 2018 and stay until it officially enters the sign of Taurus on March 7, 2019, GMT. The last time transiting Uranus entered the sign of Aries was January 14,1928. The transits of Uranus spend about seven years in a zodiacal sign, thus it has been approximately 84 years since it was last in the sign of Aries. Back in 1928 Uranus was settling in a little over a year when the Stock Market Crash occurred and the Great Depression began. On its arrival on March 11, 2011, like a percolator, Uranus in Aries was quickly coming to a boil with the help of Jupiter in Aries at 10 degrees, Saturn in Libra at 15 degrees and Pluto in Capricorn at 7 degrees, which by sign alone (not degrees) created a cardinal t-square. Cardinal t-squares are full of energy, impatience, and a fierce need to get something done fast. Uranus' entrance in Aries was explosive beginning with the whole world's political eye closely watching what is now being called Egypt's Arab Spring and President's Mohamed Hussein's fall from power. With transiting Uranus in Aries being a major player in the cardinal t-square, many eastern countries began fighting for their freedom and democracy. The sign of Aries is associated with explosions, and war, while the planet Uranus is sudden, eruptive and marches to the tune of its own drummer. What could be more representative of transiting Uranus in Aries than a fight for freedom and independence by the masses (Pluto rules the masses). Uranus is the planet of sudden, unexpected, unusual and spontaneous action. You've heard of the "7 year itch"? Well, Uranus is the force that helped coin that phrase. Studying the events during the last time Uranus was in the sign of Aries can help give us a weather forecasting view of what we might expect when it is, once again, in the sign of energetic Aries. |

I take the view that planets have personalities and with this in mind, let's see how the spontaneous, tradition breaking Uranus will break down the walls of rigidity and bring new, bad and good, things in our lives when it enters the sign of Aries for the next seven-year cycle. Remember that revolution is often associated with the planet Uranus and sometimes things have to get worse before they get better with this planet. Transiting Uranus brings change, sometimes pleasant and sometimes upsetting and likely never what you expected. One thing for certain, expect the unexpected with Uranus. Aries: The sign most likely to experience sudden and unexpected change in their life is Aries. Transiting Uranus passing through the sign of Aries is very likely to either change your whole life or at least many areas of your life. It is best to hold on tight while you let go of much of the past. That which was routine, stable, comfortable, reliable, may not be so anymore when Uranus in Aries gets done with changing your life. The sun sign of Aries is known to be a risk taker, but never with their daily routines in their life that gives them stability and feeling that they have a firm grip on their life. Things you thought would last forever, may fade away slowly or explode into something completely different. Resisting the changes will only leave you battle scared. You will learn how to march to the tune of your own drummer willingly or unwillingly, fight by fight, broken heart by broken heart, tear by tear, etc. What you need to concentrate on is where you would like to be 7 years from now. Keep your eye on the end goal, which will be liberation from within. You will eventually face your worse fears and they lie within. You can survive this life altering transit with a little more faith in yourself. Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn will be the signs affected by transiting Uranus in Aries, because these signs are all part of the cardinal t-square I talk about in my article above. Pisces will emerge from their cocoon and learn not to fear risk, but rather to be who they truly are. Gemini will learn the value in the freedom of speech and learn how to use their other talents for expressing their gifts. Virgo will learn the value of taking care of their health and the value in working within your physical limits. Without good health you cannot exercise your freedom and come and go as you please. Sagittarius will learn how not to open mouth and insert foot, but rather how to say what you mean and mean what you say and not regret having said something you wish you hadn't--and respecting other's opinions and ideas and need to live differently than you do. Taurus will learn how to brave their fear of financial independence and learn how to take care of their financial needs all on their own. Scorpio will learn how to be more daring in expressing their feelings and exposing their vulnerabilities without feeling they are losing their grip on life nor the walls that hide their fsecret ear of exposing who they really are--which are wonderful people. Leos will learn how to set the world on fire with their charm without being egotistical or boring, but rather show the world their loving, romantic, artistic and endearing traits that they clearing own. Aquarians will now be able to rise from the ashes of trying so hard to please to learning how to relax and develop new ways in which to help humanity without excluding themselves first.
